Wellness Wednesdays
The Hamilton Area YMCA, in collaboration with Princeton Health Care Systems, will offer screenings, workshops, and health education information on the 2nd Wednesday of each month in 2008. All events will take place in the Y Main Facility lobby and will be FREE and open to the community. Call Krissi Zigenfus at extension 1112 for more information.

Summer Workouts on Sunday
Ages 13+. Join us on the following dates for fun summer two-hour workouts. We will start with a warm-up; continue with cardiovascular exercise including step, kickboxing, and boot camp; keep up the pace with muscle conditioning using the ball, bands, and weights; and finish the workout with abdominals, stretching, and yoga postures. Pre-registration is required.

Teen Fitness

Extreme Youth Fitness (ages 6 – 12)
This fitness class for youth will incorporate cardiovascular exercise, resistance training and stretching in a fun way that youth will enjoy! Gym class, games, abdominal training, sports conditioning and yoga postures are just some of the activities that will be incorporated.

Teen Circuit Strength (ages 12 – 14)
This small group format is designed to teach proper technique and appropriate intensity on a circuit of strength and cardio machines in our Strive room. Safety will be emphasized and participants must follow all the wellness center guidelines. Participants MUST be registered to participate. Registration will be limited to 8 participants.

NEW! Just for Girls Fitness (ages 12 - 14)
This fitness class will include hip-hop dance, pilates, yoga, walking and stretching. It will also incorporate healthy tips for girls including proper nutrition, proper technique for muscle conditioning and safety while exercising.

Teens ages 13+ may participate in group exercise classes.

Teen Fitness Express Card (ages 13 - 17)
Enjoy all the land group exercise classes. We offer Yoga, Pilates, Cardio & Tone, Abs classes and more!

Family Fitness

NEW! Mother & Daughter Yogalates (ages 8 - 12)
Enjoy this mind / body class with your daughter. Relax, strengthen your core muscles (abdominals, low back), and work on partner stretches with your daughter during this time.

Family Fitness - Cardio Walk
Get motivated, and stay cool indoors with a walking group and walk your way to better health. A Certified Fitness Coach will get the group started each week and monitor your progress. The group will include walking on our indoor track, tips on how to stay healthy, and mileage incentives. Each participant will receive a FREE pedometer to track their miles.

Youth Karate (Tae Kwon Do) (ages 5 – 12)
Teen/Adult Karate (Tae Kwon Do) (ages 13+)

Learn the discipline of Karate and Tae Kwon Do and enhance your level of physical fitness, self-esteem, and confidence. Belt advancement can be obtained through this program. A plain white Gui is required, and may be purchased during the first class at the YMCA at a cost of $25.00.
