Personal Training & Weight Management Programs

NEW! Get Real - A Weight Management package for beginners.
Get Real is a program for those who are looking to lose weight but do not know how to begin. We can help you get started and motivate you to maintain healthy lifestyle changes which can result in weight loss. This package includes our Coach Approach 12-week Personal Fitness Program, a Personal Nutrition Consultation, a Resting Metabolic Rate Test, and Pre/Post Body Composition evaluations.

NEW! Body Composition Analysis
Let us determine your body fat percentage and assess your fitness levels. Skin caliper measurements are used to determine body fat versus lean tissue percentages. Certified staff will conduct standardized tests and provide you with recommendations for personal training. This assessment is available to members and non-members! Session includes test and 1/2 hour consultation.

Wellness Wednesdays
The Hamilton Area YMCA, in collaboration with Princeton Health Care Systems, will offer screenings, workshops, and health education information on the 2nd Wednesday of each month in 2008. All events will take place in the Y Main Facility lobby and will be FREE and open to the community. Call Krissi Zigenfus at extension 1112 for more information.

Personal Training
Looking for extra motivation with your workouts? Are you
currently satisfied with the results your workouts have been
providing? Let our Nationally Certified Personal Trainers design and monitor a program to reach your specific goals. During each session, you will have your personal trainers full undivided attention on your workout. Let us help you reach your fitness goals. Personal Training is for Adult General and Fitness Members Only.

All Personal Training sessions must be paid for in advance; you will be assigned a Trainer who will contact you to set up an appointment. 24-hour notice must be given for cancellation or member forfeits session.

Coach Approach - Let us help you get your fitness program started the right way.
A FREE program for NEW EXERCISERS.
Your Personal Certified Fitness Coach will meet with you four times during a 12-week period. Your workout will be progressively designed to assist you in meeting goals that you and your Fitness Coach establish. Together, you will develop an action plan to meet your personal goals and your Fitness Coach will monitor your progress, educate you, and be available to answer your fitness questions. Personal Nutrition Consultations
The Hamilton Area YMCA now offers on-site personal nutrition consultations with a Certified Nutrition & Wellness Consultant. This service is for those who are looking for enhancement of general health, help with weight loss, nutrition for sports performance, and/or those with health related issues such as diabetes or heart disease. Schedule a time that you can discuss your personal nutritional needs.

*A1/2 hour personal training session is included in all 10 session package purchases.

Resting Metabolic Rate Testing
In order to know how many calories you can consume, you first must learn how many calories your body needs. Discover how your metabolism can work for you rather than against you. This simple “breathing” test will allow us to determine how many calories your body burns each day. Knowing the amount of calories your body utilizes will take the guesswork out of losing weight. Summer Workouts on Sunday
Ages 13+. Join us on the following dates for fun summer two-hour workouts. We will start with a warm-up; continue with cardiovascular exercise including step, kickboxing, and boot camp; keep up the pace with muscle conditioning using the ball, bands, and weights; and finish the workout with abdominals, stretching, and yoga postures. Pre-registration is required.
