Group Exercise

The Hamilton YMCA offers over 100 land and water group exercise classes per week. Classes include yoga, Zumba, step, muscle conditioning, water fitness, pilates, cycle, deep-water fitness and more. Classes are held in one of our two group exercise studios, our dance studio, our heated indoor pool, or our Spirit, Mind, Body Center (SMB).

Member must be at least 13 to participate in Group Exercise Classes.

Personal Training


Let our Nationally Certified Personal Trainers design and monitor a program to reach your specific goals (athletic, performance, post-rehab). During each session, you will have your personal trainer’s full undivided attention on your workout.

Member must be at least 13 years old to utilize the Wellness Center and schedule Personal Training sessions.

3-session package: $120
10-session package: $350

Coach Approach

A Personal Certified Fitness Coach will meet with you at minimum four times during a 12-week period to help design a program that meets your goals.  Must be age 13 or older to utilize the wellness center and schedule a Coach Approach.

$25 with your Facility or Facility Plus membership.

Fitness Evaluation

This package includes assessments for Body Composition, Flexibility, Muscular Strength & Endurance, Cardiovascular conditioning, and a Resting Metabolic Rate Test.  It also includes a one-hour Personal Training session in which you will review evaluation results, set goals, and begin your workout program.

Facility and Facility Plus Members: $25
Program and Non-members: $25

Flex Package

Individual success in wellness can come from both regular exercise and eating healthy. The Flex Package is a 10-session package where you can choose between personal training sessions and nutrition consultations based on your needs.

Nutrition Consultations

Consultations are for those who are looking for enhancement of general health, help with weight loss, nutrition for sports performance, and/or those with health related issues such as diabetes or heart disease. Packages are available for individuals or family.

1-session package:  $55
5-session package:  $225
10-session package:  $350

Resting Metabolic Test

Discover how your metabolism can work for you rather than against you. Knowing the amount of calories your body utilizes will take the guesswork out of losing weight.

Sports Performance Training


In this small group, an expert trainer will focus on safely developing sport-related speed and agility as well as flexibility and vertical jump.  Designed for participants who want to gain an edge in athletic competition or those looking for a new and interesting fitness challenge.  Limited number of spaces available. If small group training is not suited for you, feel free to schedule 1 on 1 sessions, and take your fitness to the next level.

Youth Wellness


Youth Wellness will be an 8-week course designed to educate, engage, and motivate 12 year olds to be physically active.  Once the course is complete, the 12 year old will be able to utilize* the wellness center with their parent. 

*both parent and child will need to be facility/facility plus members to utilize the wellness center.

Zumba Kids (ages 6 - 12)
