BECOMING A BETTER YOU! With our resources, tools, and state-of-the-art equipment, we can get you there!

Your membership includes full access to our 6,100 sq. ft. Wellness Center which is equipped with all the tools you need to have fun and see results! Wellness Center equipment includes: touchscreen and interactive cardio machines with TV and internet accessibility, fully equipped free weight area with Cybex and Precor equipment, Life Fitness Hammer Strength machines, full stretching areas, and much more! To get the full experience, please stop-in for a tour at your convenience.

We all need advice from an expert sometimes. Our trained Wellness Coaches are there to assist you with any need or question at all times of the day, just look for someone wearing a blue shirt and they will be happy to help!

Our Wellness Center is open all 7 days of the week for you!

Monday - Thursday from 5:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Friday from 5:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Saturday from 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Sunday from 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

New to the Y? Not sure where to begin? Fit Start is for you!

FitStart is a complimentary program that will  help you align your personal fitness goals with the tools needed to succeed.  Members will receive 4 one-hour sessions with a wellness coach including a wellness center orientation to teach you how to properly use the equipment and find your appropriate fitness starting point.  Sessions will introduce cardio and strength equipment.

Must be age 12 or older to utilize the Wellness Center and schedule a FitStart appointment.

Fitness Evaluation

Know where you are to know how you are.

Schedule a fitness evaluation to measure your starting level of fitness ability before you start your exercise program. Measure your strength and endurance improvements in hard numbers!

Evaluation consists of:

  • Body Fat and BMI analysis
  • Blood Pressure
  • Mobility and Flexibility Testing
  • Unilateral Upper Body Strength Testing
  • Unilateral Lower Body Strength Testing
  • Cardiovascular Health Testing
You will also receive a 6-month free follow-up to evaluate improvement and results!

Kids On-Ramp

We are excited to introduce our newest family fitness focused program: Kids On-Ramp!

This program allows children ages 9 - 11 years to exercise in the wellness center alongside their parent(s) on Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. until close. Children will have access to cardio equipment, Hammer Strength machines, and SYNRGY360.

Kids On-Ramp requires both parent and child to complete a FitStart orientation with a wellness center staff member before the child is eligible. FitStart explains:

  • Safety Guidelines
  • Wellness Center Rules and Etiquette
  • Appropriate technique and equipment use

FitStart orientations are scheduled on Saturday and Sunday. Registration for FitStart is required and can be completed at the JKR Member Service Desk. A parent must be with the child during FitStart and at all times in the wellness center.

Nutrition Consultation

Find and Maintain your Balance with Proper Nutrition!

Invest in your health by scheduling a nutrition consultation with our certified nutrition consultant here at the Y! Through one-on-one coaching, education, and personalized biochemistry and food analysis you will learn the how, why, and what answers to your stubborn nutrition issues.

What does a Nutrition Consultation include?

A nutrition consultation session is an individualized meeting with a Certified Nutrition Consultant to discuss your nutritional habits and make recommendations to manage your weight with a healthier eating lifestyle. During the session, your Nutrition Consultant will discuss your goals, any health issues or concerns, and based upon that discussion design an individual nutrition program just for you!

Your Certified Nutrition Consultant will offer information including: proper selection of food, measuring and portion control, reading labels, managing snacks, dining out, and modifying recipes.


1 Session       $55 
5 Sessions  $150 
10 Sessions          $400 

To purchase a Nutrition Consultation package, please visit our Membership Services Desk. All Nutrition Consultation sessions must be paid for in advance. Upon purchase and completion of the Nutrition Consultation Request form, your nutrition consultant will personally contact you to set-up an appointment at your convenience.

Flex Package

Ensure Success!

Individual success in wellness comes from both an integrated fitness plan and a nutritional lifestyle. The Flex Package is a 10-session package where you can choose between Personal Training sessions and Nutrition Consultations based on your needs.

10 Sessions        $400 

Resting Metabolic Test

Discover how your metabolism can work for you rather than against you. Knowing the amount of calories your body utilizes will take the guesswork out of losing weight.

Facility and Facility Plus members: $40

Small Group Training

Small Group Training

Small group training is an interactive, challenging, and affordable way to meet your fitness goals. Be inspired and work with others as you progress to get you the results you want. All programs will be led by a Certified Personal Trainer and provide a systematic training program that fits the needs and abilities of all participants. Classes include:

•  Active Adult/Low Impact
•  Couch to 5K Training Class

Outdoor Boot Camp

The Hamilton Area YMCA is part of an initiative to keep our community healthy. We are offering free Saturday morning Boot Camp workouts led by a certified Hamilton Area YMCA instructor at the Sawmill Branch! Bring a friend and work up a sweat before hitting the beach! Non-members are welcome!
