“Y’s of America Used Athletic Shoes for Seeds” program: We want to help you harness that power by supporting the MORE Foundation Group.
MORE - a Delaware 501c3 non-profit – provides used athletic shoes to vendors in developing nations.
The proceeds enable MORE to send millions of tree seeds and training to less fortunate Y‘s overseas.
The overseas Y’s then plant a variety of trees, which in turn provides them food, fuel, fiber, and income.
How You Can Help: Instead of decomposing in landfills, one pair of your re-purposed used athletic shoes can send 10 seeds to a Y overseas and removes one ton of carbon from the atmosphere!
Bring in your used - but not abused - athletic shoes. The MORE Foundation needs gently-used athletic shoes (running and soccer, adult sizes only 6 – 11.)
