Nearly 7 million school age children spend the summer home alone each year – many because their parents lack the financial resources to provide an alternative.
Since 1951, we’ve been helping families in our community fill in the gaps. We can think of no better way to mark our 65th anniversary than to dedicate all proceeds from Summer Celebration to our Summer Camp Scholarship Program. Instead of staying home alone this summer, more kids will get to play, learn, swim and grow…knowing that the Hamilton Area YMCA will always be there when they need us.
