The Hamilton Area YMCA is the place where your children can play, get active, and connect with others kids in a fun and safe environment.

For kids 3-5 with for parents, grandparents , nannies!  This class will help build your bond with your child through fun activities that incorporate music and movement.

A great way to introduce your child to various sports in a fun & active way.

This program is designed to teach the basics and fundamentals of soccer and basketball. Children will learn dribbling, passing and shooting by doing drills and playing games for both soccer and basketball. Rules, offense and defense will also be introduced.

Pass! Kick! Score! This program is designed for kids to learn the fundamentals of soccer combining team play and individual skills. Children must be potty trained.

This class provides younger children with a fun atmosphere to work on their basketball skills. Kids will learn the basics of the sport, including how to pass, dribble, and shoot, by doing drills and playing games.

This fun, fast-paced class introduces kids to a variety of sports in a supportive and engaging environment! Each week, participants will explore the basics of various sports, including soccer, basketball, baseball, and more, learning fundamental skills, teamwork, and good sportsmanship along the way. With age-appropriate instruction and plenty of encouragement, kids build confidence, stay active, and discover what they love to play!

Get moving, stay active, and have a blast in Fit & Fun — a high-energy class that combines fitness with play! Designed to promote physical activity through games, movement, and simple exercises, this class helps participants build strength, coordination, and confidence in a positive, upbeat environment.

 

Kids are introduced to the fundamentals of tennis. Activities are focused on developing the ABCs (agility, balance, and coordination) all while forming skills necessary to serve, rally, and score.

Hitting, base running, and fielding are foundational elements that are taught in baseball.

Learn proper techniques such as cradling, scooping, passing, catching, and shooting.

Ready, set, hike! Foundational instruction includes running, passing, catching, and flag pulling.

Learn more advanced skills of basketball including layups, dribbling, jump shooting, defense, rebounding and more.

This class is designed to help teens build a strong foundation in fitness through age-appropriate strength training, cardio, and mobility work. Participants will learn proper technique using bodyweight exercises, resistance bands, free weights, and functional movements—all in a safe, supervised environment. The focus is on improving overall athleticism, building confidence, and developing healthy workout habits that support sports and everyday life.

Bump, set, and spike your way into better fitness and fun with our Adult Volleyball class! This co-ed program is perfect for all skill levels — whether you're new to the game or looking to sharpen your technique. You'll improve your coordination, agility, and teamwork through drills, skill-building exercises, and friendly scrimmages. Led by experienced instructors, this class offers a supportive, energetic environment where you can stay active, meet new people, and enjoy the spirit of the game.
